Innovation and sustainability in wine cooperatives facing climate change
Results serving the industry

As part of the dissemination and knowledge-transfer activities of the INNOGOUV project, we had the pleasure of presenting the main findings of our survey on French wine cooperatives at SITEVI 2025—the international exhibition of equipment, products, and services for the vine, wine, and fruit-growing sectors. This presentation took the form of a workshop-conference led on November 28, 2025, by Louis-Antoine Saïsset and Sébastien Narjoud (ICV Group).

SITEVI is an essential gathering for professionals in the wine and vine industry, bringing together researchers, technicians, cooperatives, and suppliers to discuss major technical and economic developments in the sector. It thus provided an ideal setting to bridge academic research and field realities, in line with the core mission of the INNOGOUV project

The workshop-conference, titled "Innovation and sustainability in wine cooperatives facing climate change," presented the results of the INNOGOUV project's quantitative survey, which was conducted among more than 200 cooperative wineries across all French wine-producing regions.

The findings highlighted the diverse and rich responses that cooperatives are implementing to meet the challenges of climate change: varietal and digital innovations, evolutions in organizational models, and the adoption of more sustainable practices aimed at improving their economic, social, and environmental performance.

Beyond simply presenting these findings, the session also provided an opportunity to reaffirm the ambition of the INNOGOUV project: to share and pool these solutions on a broader scale for the benefit of the entire French wine cooperative industry.
