Participation in the Paris Innovation Forum 2025

Two presentations within the framework of INNOGOUV on French wine cooperatives
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the journal Innovations

As part of the dissemination and knowledge-transfer activities of the INNOGOUV project, were were pleased to present two research works on French wine cooperatives, at the Paris Innovation Forum 2025, organized by the Innovation Research Network (RRI) in partnership with EDC Paris Business School, from October 13 to 16, 2025.

This edition held a particularly symbolic character, marking the 30th anniversary of the journal Innovations Revue d'économie et de management de l'innovation / Journal of Innovation Economics and Management in the French-speaking and international scientific landscape. Centered around the theme "Economics, management and engineering of innovation: trajectories and perspectives of systemic innovations," the Forum brought together researchers from various disciplines, including economics, management, engineering, and social sciences, around the most recent advances in systemic innovations.

- The first work, titled "Drivers of the adoption of varietal innovation in French wine cooperatives and cooperative unions" and presented by Mohamed Makraz, co-authored with Louis-Antoine Saïsset, Leïla Temri and Iciar Pavez (UMR MoISA, L'Institut Agro Montpellier; CIHEAM-IAMM), focused on the factors influencing the choice of cooperatives to plant new vine varieties adapted to climate change and resistant to diseases. The results highlight the central role of agronomic and oenological advantages as drivers of adoption, as well as constraints related to appellation specifications and consumer acceptance.(https://hal.science/hal-05324002v1)

- The second work, titled "Governance and Sustainability-Oriented Innovations in Wine Firms: A Qualitative Study in France" and presented by Louis-Antoine Saïsset, co-authored with Iciar Pavez and Leïla. Temri (UMR MoISA, L'Institut Agro Montpellier; CIHEAM-IAMM), offered a qualitative analysis of the links between cooperative governance and orientation toward sustainable innovations in French wine companies.
